RISE Flag registration is now OPEN for the 2027 SPRING flag football season.

Each player will supplied with a NIKE reversible game jersey, which will be shipped direct to each player, and each Head Coach will receive a NIKE long sleeve RISE-branded shirt.

There are also opportunities to purchase a RISE Flag-branded mouthguard, RISE Flag branded football or NIKE branded gameday wear through registration.

REGISTRATION FEE:

A $25 RISE processing fee and transaction fee (covering transaction processing cost) will be added to your total:

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION:                      $125 ends January 31 ​​​
REGULAR REGISTRATION:                          $150 ends February 28
LATE REGISTRATION:                                  $165 ends March 28

For athletes who register after the regular registration end date, families should expect that uniforms may arrive by Week 2 or Week 3. Additional RISE player apparel and/or a RISE mouthguard purchased through the registration process will be delivered to your address. 

A sibling discount of $25 is available. Please note that this discount applies to siblings registered after the initial registered athlete. DISCOUNT WILL BE APPLIED AFTER THE FIRST SIBLING IS REGISTERED.

LEAGUE LOCATION

The BETHESDA RISE Flag Football season runs from April through June with games taking place at:

North Bethesda Middle School (championships at WJHS stadium)

PARENT COACHES & VOLUNTEERS

RISE Flag Football, LLC, nor the League Operator, does not provide coaches for the leagues. All coaches are volunteers and most likely parents and/or mentors in the community. EVERY volunteer coach must provide the League Operator with a current RISE background check, which is good for one year.

SEASON SCHEDULE

Game days and times may be subject to change due to Inclement weather or other reason(s). Commissioner will post details and times (games are 3:30 and 4:30 pm) prior to Week ONE.

LEAGUE FORMAT

RISE Flag Football is based on the child’s grade level for the current school year.
        •   K - 2^nd Grade Division
        •   3^rd - 5^th Grade Division
        •   6^th – 8^th Grade Division
        •  Girls Only Middle School Division (depending upon enough players)
•  Co-ed
•  Seven-game season, including playoffs and consolation games
•  5v5 or 6v6 format on 25 x 50 yd field
•  7-10 player rosters 
•  Voluntary practice will be conducted on game day 
•  No tryouts or drafts!
•  Rosters are formed by friend and/or coach requests
•  Single players are placed on teams with a common variable to be determined by the League Operator

REFUND POLICY

All refund requests must be submitted to the League Operator in writing, and refunds will be based on the below:
•   Full or 100% registration fee refund if requested 4 weeks prior to the first scheduled event day
•   Half or 50% registration fee refund if requested prior to the 2nd game of the season
•   No refunds will be given after the 2nd game of the season
•   If the season is canceled after the 4th game of the season due to an unforeseen event, NO REFUNDS will be processed.
